Airports

Nearest airports are Bergerac, Brive, Bordeaux or Toulouse.

  • Bergerac airport – 50 mins’ drive to the venue, well connected with flights every day.
  • Brive airport – 1 hour’s drive to the venue, London Stansted flights Fri–Mon.
  • Bordeaux airport – roughly 2 hours’ drive to the venue, London Luton flies with easyJet and there’s lots of availability.
  • Toulouse airport – around 2.5 hours’ drive to the venue.

We advise hiring a car or sharing transfers to keep costs down, as taxis/transfers can be quite expensive (even from Bergerac).

Ferry & Driving

  • Plymouth → Roscoff – ferry, then ~8 hours’ drive.
  • Portsmouth → Caen – ferry, then ~6 hours 45 minutes’ drive.
  • Portsmouth → Saint-Malo – ferry, then ~6 hours 40 minutes’ drive.
  • Dover → Calais – ferry, then ~9 hours’ drive to the venue.

Eurotunnel

  • Dover → Calais (Eurotunnel) – ~9 hours’ drive to the venue.

If you’re interested in driving, Orléans is a nice halfway point to break up the journey.

Eurostar

The easiest route is from London St Pancras to Paris Gare du Nord, then changing to Paris Montparnasse for the train to Bordeaux St-Jean station. From Bordeaux St-Jean, you can take a connecting train to Siorac-en-Périgord.

The journey typically takes between 8 and 9 hours in total and can be relatively expensive, so we recommend booking early where possible.

Local Transport Arrangements

To make travel easier for our guests, we will be arranging a coach service to and from the venue.
The coach will pick up from the villages of Coux-et-Bigaroque, Siorac-en-Périgord, and Saint-Cyprien.
It will return guests to these locations after the celebrations on the wedding day and the day after.
We encourage guests to book accommodation in these locations to make use of the service.
As taxis can be limited in the area, this should offer a convenient and stress-free option.
The cost is €35 per person for the two day service. As it’s most likely that guests will be arriving at different times on Friday 24th July, we have opted to let guests arrange their own transport for this day.
